Zambia national team head coach Wedson Nyirenda has called 24 players for this weekend’s CHAN Qualifier against Swaziland. According to a statement released by FAZ Communications Manager Desmond Katongo, 10 players from the COSAFA Castle cup squad have been dropped to pave way for new players.
Lusaka Dynamos captain Clatous Chota Chama has been included in the squad having earlier been left out. Power Dynamos Striker Martin Phiri has also bee given a place in the squad.
Zesco United and Zanaco players have also been included in the squad to play Swaziland. Among the players included are Zanaco captain Ziyo Tembo, Goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata and Zesco duo of Strikers Jackson Mwanza and Davy Daka.
Zambia plays Swaziland on Sunday away before hosting the Sihlangu at Heroes Stadium on July 22nd.
