Just eight says before the special annual General meeting of Dar giants Simba where the constitution change was the agenda, the board of management of the club has dismissed the planned AGM.
The board has said the meeting is illegal and it’s convention didn’t follow the clubs constitution
This means businessman Mohammed Dewji still has a long way of taking over the club.
Head of the board of management which by the party constitution are the owners of the club Hamis Kilomoni said they had to clarify their stand after it emerged that there are some members who were against the move.
The board that comprise Ramesh Patel, Abdul Wahab asked Dar es salaam Provincial Commissioner to cancel the meeting slated for December 11th and have it postponed until all members are in agreement
However, Simba vice chairman Geoffrey Nyange dismissed the boards decision saying they have no powers to stop the planned meeting
In the meantime, the board are asking the ethics and anticorruption commission to investigate the whereabouts of the transfer fees for Mbwana Samatta and Emmanuel Okwi
