SportPesa Premier League champions Tusker FC will face Mauritania side AS Port Louis 2000 in the CAF Champions League.
The draw for the competition was held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016.
If Tusker win the two-legged tie, then they will meet Egyptian side Al-Hilal of Egypt who were given a bye.
The 20th edition of the Orange CAF Champions League 2017 preliminary stage kicks off on a date between 10th and 12th February 2017 when Tusker will face AS Port Louis away in Nouakchott.
46 clubs will be take part in the preliminary round.
