Zambia U17 national team Sensational run at the on going COSAFA U17 Championships continued this afternoon after a much Changed. Zambia side hammered Madagascar to a tune of 3 goals to nil.
The team which is under the tutorage of brothers Oswald Mutapa jr and Perry Mutapa had already qualified to the semi-finals heading to this fixture. The Young Chipolopolo gave a good account of themwselves to dispatch Madagascar who have been eliminated without a win or a draw.
Siwale Mwiza Opened the scoring for Zambia in the 19th minute,beating the keeper after the latter had fumbled an easy save. George Nyimbili added a second in the 39th Minute taking advantage of a misunderstanding from Madagascar defenders.
They will now play the second-placed team in Group A in the Last 4, which will be decided on
Wednesday.
The young Chipolopolo have now scored 10 goals in 3 games,without conceding any,winning all three of their Matches.
In the other Group B encounter Kenya were handed a huge humiliation by malawi after they lost 5-0. Malawi’s Peter Banda Scored the tournaments First Hattrick.
