Zambia take on Costa Rica in the final group game in Cheonan at the Cheonan Sports complex on Saturday 27 May 2017.
The Junior Chipolopolo have already secured a spot in the round of 16 with 2 wins out of 2.
Zambia upset two time champions Portugal 2-1 thanks to goals from Edward Chilufya and Fashion Sakala.
In the second match, the Zambians came from 2-0 down against Iran to win 4-2.
Reza Shekari’s double looked to have condemned the Junior African Champions to their first defeat but they came back in spectacular “Fashion.”
Goals from Fashion Sakala, Enock Mwepu, Emmanuel Banda and Patson Daka completed a dramatic comeback and send Zambia top of Group C.
Costa Rica will face a tough time against Zambia. They have not had it easy at all in this competition.
A defeat in the first game at the hands of Iran and a 1-1 draw with Portugal is all they had to show for so far.
A win against Zambia will give them a slight chance of making it into the last 16 as 3rd best placed team or 2nd place should Portugal beat Iran.
Iran however, would look to seal a famous win over Portugal and book their place in the round of 16.
They will have to keep out Diogo Gonçalves and Xande Silva, the two danger men for Portugal.
The game takes place at the Incheon Stadium and will run simultaneously at 10:00 CAT with the other Group C fixture between Costa Rica and Zambia.
