A defeat against the USA has thrown Senegal’s World Cup campaign in doubt.
Joshua Sargent’s strike was enough to send the USA top of Group F leaving Senegal in a must win encounter against Ecuador on Sunday 28 May 2017 at the Jeonju World Cup Stadium.
Ibrahima Niane and Cavin Diagne gave the young Lions of Teranga a resounding 2-0 victory against Saudi Arabia in the first group game.
Despite the loss to USA, Senegal still hold qualification in their own hands. A win against Ecuador would guarantee passage to the round of 16.
In the other Group F Match USA tackle Saudi Arabia at the Daejeon World Cup Stadium.
Matches in group F will run simultaneously starting at 11:00 CAT.
