Uganda Cranes arrived safely in Fort Portal around 1630Hrs ahead of Sunday’s match with Kitara Region Select.
Fort Portal is the chosen destination for the Cranes as they aim to prepare for the upcoming AFCON qualifier with Cape Verde in good.They travelled there in the morning and arrived safely this afternoon.
Confirming the arrival, the FUFA communications secretary said that the team was waiting to confirm the hotel which they have been booked into.
“The Uganda Cranes team has successfully arrived in Fort Portal ahead of Sunday’s match with Kitara region select. They ‘will be’ accomodated at Kalya Courts Hotel,”reads his statement.
Cranes kick off their campaigns against fellow Group L members Cape Verde.The other two countries in Group L are; Tanzania and Lesotho.
The Squad is captained by former Vipers SC defender Hassan Wasswa.
