Uganda Cranes registered the biggest win of Cranes Namutima regional tours thrashing Kampala Region 6-1 in a match played at the Muteesa II Stadium on Saturday 5th November.
Cranes went on the onslaught from the onset and got the first in the 14th minute, Saddam Juma converting a penalty after Jonathan Muteesa handled the ball in penalty box.
Shaban Mohammad doubled the lead in the 24th minute; a swift counter-attack that culminated with Shaban’s tap connecting from Joseph Ochaya cross.
Misscomunication between Hassan Wasswa and goalkeeper Bejamin Ochan gifted the regional side consolation goal in 33rd minute with Wasswa heading into own net.
Cranes re-organized themselves quickly and within two minutes Ochaya headed a free header from Shaban Mohammed to make it 3-1 defender Noah Abich made it 3-1at half time.
In the second half Cranes coach sent in another pool of players and within five minutes Derrick Nsibabi found the net in 51st minute.
Muzamir Mutyaba completed another good counter attack with a well-taken goal in the 58th minute. Tony Mawejje completed the rout ten minutes later.
