Uganda head coach Sebastien Desabre has revealed their plans ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals.
The tournament will be hosted by Egypt between 21 June to 19 July 2019.
The Cranes will be making their second successive appearance at the continental tournament.
“I have been monitoring all the players both local and international therefore I know their potential,” Desabre told the media.
“Me and my boys are more motivated and we shall show that during our first game at 2019 AFCON against DR Congo in Cairo.
“Our first target at AFCON is to go past the group stages.”
The 26-man Cranes squad for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) camp will be named on the 21st of May 2019.
The Cranes will play two matches against a Southern African side and another team to be confirmed before departing for UAE camp.
