Uganda cranes and KCCA FC left back Joseph Ochaya has been invited by South African top flight club Bidvest Wits University for trials between 03rd August to 20th August.

The KCCA FC current MVP has of recent been on great form for both club and country.

Part of the letter reads,

“All expenses, meals and accommodation costs will be covered by the club

He will be accommodated at the Bidvest Wits sports academy which is situated at sturrock park Raikes road, wits University/sports admin. West campus Braamfontein Johannesburg, South Africa. ”

Ochaya is expected to get 200,000 Uganda shillings daily allowances for the period he will be their.

It will not be the first time a Ugandan player has gone for trials at Wits as defender Savio Kabugo, Denis Iguma Moses Oloya and goalkeeper Robert Odongkara have all been their before.

The player who has had professional stints in Ghana (Asante Kotoko) and Vietnam incase he puts pen on paper will join goalkeeper Denis Onyango, Timothy Batabaire(2009-2010) and Geoffrey Serunkuma (2010-2011) amongst Ugandans who have played for the club.
