Uganda Vs Madagascar
First leg result: Madagascar 2-1 Uganda
At Namboole Stadium, 4:00 P.M
Ahead of Saturday’s return leg AFCON 2015 second leg qualifier at
Namboole, the National football team of Madagascar, The Barea stars
has arrived in the country on Thurday evening with a 24 man
contingent.
Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport by 7 pm aboard
Kenyan Airways, they were recieved by FUFA Executive Committee
member,Mr. Sam Lwere.
The Barea stars used Kenyan Airways carrier, Boeing KQ 417 from
Nairobi, the second plane after the flying from Madagascar with KQ 757
(Antanarivvo to Nairobi).
The contingent has 18 players and 6 Officials led by the Vice
President of Madagascar Football Federation Mr. Raoul Romain Rabekoto
Arizaka.
They are accommodated at the Grand Global Hotel in Makerere and will
have a feel of the match day turf at Namboole Stadium on Friday as
required by the CAF competitions rules and regulations.
About 6 Madagascar nationals who live in Uganda were at the Entebbe
Airport Arrivals lounge
to welcome their team to Uganda.
