Uganda Cranes proved too strong for Kitara Region Select in an 2017 regional tour game played at the Buhinga Stadium in Fort Portal with the visitors easily running out 3-1 winners.
A first half brace by striker, Emmanuel Okwi and a goal Nelson Senkatuka gave Cranes well deserved win.
In the second stanza the Micho’s coached side brought in a new set of players that included on form defender Savio Kabugo.
It took until the 61st minute for the home side to get a consolation goal thanks to second half subsitute Beckam Musoki.
Musoki, on for Kasonki, finished brilliantly from a tight angle amid jubilations by thousands of fans as Cranes sought for intersections with the fans in the tour.
Cranes nearly pulled a fourth back in the 79th minute from Kabugo header but thanks to Kwizera who grabbed the ball on the line.
The match ended soon after with Cranes now turning their attention to AFCON 2019 qualifiers aganist Cape Verde in June.
