Uganda Cubs claimed a crucial away 2-1 win over Seychelles in the CAF U-17 Youth Championship first leg match played on Saturday 14 June in Victoria Seychelles.Charles Sebutinde, a senior five student from St Edward Bukumi netted first in the 19th minute of the game to hand the Ugandan Junior team a deserved 1-0 half time lead. On recommencement, Seychelles leveled the matters 15 minutes from the recess before Risah Standard Academy striker Pius Obuya restored the lead for the Ugandan Juniors 25 minutes from time to give the Cubs the slim lead as they await the return match.The juniors welcome the Seychelles team on for the return leg on Saturday 28th June, 2014 at Nakivubo Stadium.The team is set to return home tomorrow at 7pm aboard Kenyan Airways and will regroup 3 days later in preparation for the return leg.
