Sports Club Villa Football Club has hastened their preparation for the 6th June Final Match of the Uganda Cup against fierce rivals Kampala City Council Authority. The match, which will be staged at the Kyamate Sports Complex in Ntugamo, will also provide Uganda’s representative to the CAF Confederations Cup after Vipers SC secured the Champions league slot.
Coach Ibrahim Kirya, speaking to a Ugandan Radio Station, He said his charges are well prepared for the final match. He further said they are working very hard to face their opponents as that’s the only hope they have.
SC Villa last won the Cup in 2009 when Suleiman Kato was the head Coach.KCC Coach Abdullah Mubiru on the other hand said 90 minutes will determine the victors.
In oither Developments,BUL FC ‘s Robert Achema has rejoined SC Villa on a 2year deal after agreeing in terms with the Villa Park based side.”It is fine and I can’t wait to be back at a club I call home”Achema was quoted saying after he said goodbye to the Jinja based Club.BUL FC finished 5th in the Uganda Premier League while SC Villa finished second after winners Vipers.
