Uganda has moved up the FIFA ranking table release today gaining one position to move up from 73 to 72.
The new position marks the end of best year for Uganda Cranes who have qualified for Africa Cup of Nations after 38 years wait with Micho led charges having not played any game this month.
There were no changes at the top of the table as Argentina held on to numero uno with Brazil and Germany retaining second and third. None of the top teams had any game hence the top thirty teams remained stagnant.
In Africa top three; Senegal,Ivory Coast and Tunisia all remained stagnant to retain their positions except the Carthage Eagles who dropped one postion. The next three; Egypt, DRC and Algeria with their positions remaining the same.
In the CECAFA region apart from Uganda, other teams in the first 100 places include Kenya at position 89 and Rwanda occupying position 92 with a diffrence of thirty points separating the two.
