Miya has dominated headlines this season helping his club vipers to their first Azam Uganda premier league title earning himself a well deserved MVP.He capped his stellar perfomance with an astonishing brand of football that helped Uganda Kobs to demolish Rwanda in the Africa Under-23 Tournament that acts as a 2016 Olympic qualifer.

Farouk Miya’s eye catching exploits has made him a target of many teams from across the region with Kenyan premier league coaches salivating at the prospects of landing the genuine talented player.
Farouk Miya will be the key player when Uganda visit Egypt July 17–19 before the return fixture on August 1. The winner will then qualify for the Caf U-23 championships due November 28- December 12 in Senegal. The top three teams nations qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil.
