Ugandan winger Paddy Tebusweke has joined mighty Mufulira Wonderers in the Zambian Super League on a two-year-deal.

Tebusweke, 28, has been trying out in China after a short stint with Ugandan Premier League side Express FC.

“I’m very happy for him. He is one of the most disciplined and professional players and is very good at what he does,” his agent Ronny “Super-agent” Santos told Sok25east from Zambia.

Mufulira Wonderers is one of the most decorated clubs in Zambia – and have had within their ranks some of the biggest names in African football including legendary Kalusha Bwalya, a former African Player of the year.

The Mighty boast nine league titles, but all were won during their past glory days. They have struggled in the recent past, living in the shadows of present giants like Zesco, Zanaco and Nkana.

They are currently 18th in the 20-team league standings and are starring at relegation. Their next league outing will be against Nkana Sunday.

Paddy becomes the second Ugandan to cross over to the first rising ZSL in the mini transfer window after for DC Motema Pembe forward signed for Zesco United Thursday.
