FIFA/Coca-Cola world rankings  for the month of May are out and Uganda remains the best ranked team in East Africa.

Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi each moved a place higher in the rankings while Tanzania and Kenya stagnated.

Uganda moved from position 72^nd last month to 71^st, Rwanda climbed to 73^rd from previous 74^th while Burundi moved to position 112^th from 113^th.

Ethiopia is at number 101; Kenya and Tanzania retained positions 117^th and 107^th respectively. Sudan dropped a place from 110^th to 111^th.

Algeria 20^th remains the best ranked team in Africa followed by reigning AFCON Champions Ivory Coast 23^rd and Ghana at 26th.

The next rankings will be on 4^th Jun 2015.
