Kenya representatives in the CAF Confederations Cup Ulinzi Stars FC have arrived safely in Egypt ahead of their preliminary round first leg against Libya’s Al Hilal Benghazi on Friday 10 February.
A contingent of twenty two players and some technical bench officials landed in Cairo on Wednesday morning having completed seven hour flight.
This was confirmed by the club Vice Chairman who indicated that the team will hit the training ground this evening after some rest.
“They have arrived very well and settled in at their hotel. They had the whole day to rest before getting a training ground in the evening. The morale of the players is so high and we expect the best from them,” said club Vice -Chairman Major Joe Birgen.
The second leg will be played eight days later at Safaricom Stadium, Kasarani on Saturday February 18.
