2010 Kenyan Premier League champions Ulinzi Stars are in the have acquired the services for two players as the transfer windows continues ahead of the 2016 season. The soldiers’ have captured services of Joseph Kuria formerly of Thika United and defender Byron Odiaga from Sony Sugar
The club confirmed through their official website that they have captured services of Joseph Kuria formerly of Thika United and defender Byron Odiaga from Sony Sugar.
The statement read in part, “Ulinzi Stars FC is glad to announce the signing of two players, midfielder Joseph Kuria from Thika United and defender Byron Odiaga from Sony Sugar FC. The two players are expected to link up with their new team mates on January 6 (Wednesday) when the preparations for 2016 season starts.
The Nakuru based side is still active in the market as he confirmed that they will sign an additional player so that the team can be competitive and better prepared for a new season that is expected to be even tougher for them.
Birgen added; “We are also in the process of looking for one more player, a striker and with that our team will be complete for next season. Our target is to fight for the title and we have a good team to do so.”
At the same time, Stephen Ochollah and Oliver Rutto, who spent a better part of the second leg on career progression courses, will be back with the team on Wednesday. Stephen Waruru, who has been away on Military duty, is expected back in April and will start playing in the second leg
