Unisport FC of Bafang 2012 Cameroon Cup champions will take on Yaounde base team, Eding FC of Lekie in one the semi-final match of the 2018 Cameroon Cup.

According to the draws conducted at the headquarter of the Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT in Yaounde last weekend, Unisport FC of Bafang, finalist in 2000, 2005 and 2011 and Eding FC will confront each other Sunday September 2, 2018 at the Military Stadium, Yaounde at 3:30 pm.

Eding Sport defeated Champions Coton sport of Garoua by 2-1at the quarter finals stage while Unisport FC of Haut Nkam edged Renaissance of Ngoumou by a goal to nil.

On Saturday September 1, 2018, Panthere FC of Nde that edged Union of Douala one nil after extra time will faced Lion Blessé FC of Foutouni who two nil winners against Tonnerre Kalara FC of Yaounde at the quarter were final stage of the competition.

Of the four semi-finalists, only Panthere FC and Unisport FC are regular teams in this stage while Lion Blessé FC and Eding Sport FC will be experiencing the stage for their very first time.

Unisport FC reached the semi-finals of the Cameroon Cup in 1968, 1971, 1985, 1991 and the final in 2000, which they lost to Kumbo Strikers Football Club (1-0) before winning the competition for the first time in 2012 against the New Stars Football Club.
