Cameroonian born AS Vita Club midfileder Franklin Bama Yangoua alias Francisco Obama Ondo has come out strongly to deny the reports about his dual citizenship, his three birthday dates and illegal obtainment of international transfer certificate.
In an interview with his Vea TV which is owned by AS Vita Club, Francisco Obama Ondo has denied the investigations carried by soka25east terming the reports as false.
“In my career i have never had problems with federations or any club.This is just a black mail from my enemies who want to distruct me from today’s game aganist DCMP.
“I am aware of this case.I changed my name and i played in a South Africa club with the name,not knowing the change of nationality is a sin,”said a visibly shaken Ondo.
AS Vita coach Ibenge whom at his time the club acquired the player from South African side has distanced himself from the matter stating that he doesnt know anything about the issue.
“I dont know this story.I am frustrated not only for the club but for the future of the player,” said Ibenge.
Yangoua documents show that he acquired his citizenship within four months of his stay in Equatorial Guinea which is aganist CAF rules and played in 2015 CHAN qualifiers before using the same document to travel to South Africa.
Further information show that Franklin was named as Francisco which is a Spanish name, the official language of Equatorial Guinea because Franklin is not common in that country.
Equatorial Guinea FA acquired for him a passport “adapting” his Cameroonian name into an Equatorial Guinean one as an easy way of naturalization which is illegal.
His second name Bama was changed to Obama which is very similar and Yangoua to Ondo. Obama and Ondo are very popular family names in Equatorial Guinea, where most of the people belong to the Fang ethnic.
His place of birth would be changed too, into a city in Equatorial Guinea of Malabo as the player has put it on his official facebook account.
The information showing Yangoua’s various ages is cleary indicated on CAF website showing three diffrent birth dates as indicated by our earlier reports.
