Unsettled respected Ethiopian striker Salhadin Said rejoins St.George in Shock move

Respected Ethiopian striker Salhadin Said has rejoined Ethiopian giants St.George in a 6 month deal Soka25east.com can confirm.

Said who has been unattached made the suprise move to try and regain back his form before making a move back to Europe after a tortureous moment that saw both injury and form almost put paid to his illustrious career.

Speaking to Soka25east.com the humble Salhadin alluded to the fact that the move was important for his career as he sort to get back his form

“As a footballer alot happens in a players career and at times you have to make the hard decisions for the good of your progression.I have decided to come back home and rejoin my former team St.George so that I can get back my full fitness that is when I will make any other decision concerning my career”Salhadin said.

In 2010, Salhadin was on trial, but the transfer failed. Subsequently, he trialled with FK Vojvodina, but didn’t manage to go further than gaining good wishes and complements from coach Zoran Milinković.

In 2011, Salhadin scored in the 2011 Kagame Inter-Club Cup game against AS Port from Djibouti five goals in one game.

On 9 October 2011, Salhadin got transferred to Egyptian club Wadi Degla FC, who paid 2,040,000 Ethiopian birr, ($240,000 US),[5] at the time the highest sum ever paid for an Ethiopian footballer.

Lierse

Salhadin said ahead of Ethiopia’s game against Burkina Faso in 2013 Africa Cup of Nations that he was moving to Belgium club Lierse SK after the Africa Cup.

Al-Ahly

On 23 April 2014, Saladin moved from Wadi Degla to the league rivals Al-Ahly where they had captured 2013 CAF Champions League title.
