Like a train off the station, there seems to be no stopping for Jericho All Stars in their quest for inaugural Sportpesa Super 8 Premier League gong.
The latest to fall victim of the ruthless Makadara machine is Kabete United who came down crushing 4-2 on Sunday at Nyayo Stadium.
A brace from red hot Victor Walerah, an own goal gift from Johnson Aswani and another goal from Brian Odhiambo secured the three points – sending the East Conference top dogs two points clear of Kayole Asubuhi at the top of the table standings on 39 points.
Second placed Kayole were held to a frustrating 2-2 draw by Metro Sports on the same day at Camp Toyoyo.
Kabete got off to bad start, conceding an own goal three minutes into game; Brian Odhiambo compounded the the situation with the second for Jericho a quarter an hour later, before Samwel Karongo pulled one back a minute past the half hour mark.
Victor Walerah restored the two goal cushion for a 2-1 scoreline at the interval.
On resumption, the hosts threatened a comeback with an early goal in the 46th minute through Karongo, but that remained just a dream, as Walerah drilled the last nail on their coffin with the fourth three minutes past the hour mark.
