The Azam Uganda Premier League saw eight matches played on the match day two of action on Tuesday 23rd August at various venues across the country.
Unlike the opening weekend matches, match day two was a high scoring one with fifteen goals netted in the eight matches. The biggest winners of the day were Vipers who crept back to winning ways with a 4 – 0 result against Police FC at the Nakivubo Stadium.
In the other fixture, Soana registered their first win of the season in a 3– 1 result at home to Saints FC as they start early push to the top three.
In Bugembe Stadium,SC Villa thrashed Sadolin 2-0.The only televised match of the day saw Onduparaka losing to Bright Stars 2-0 away in Matugga while Proline managed to hold a wasteful Express FC side to a barren draw at Philip Omondi Stadium.
Defending champions KCCA secured their second to remain on top of the table while in Jinja , JMC Hippos picked a point against Kirinya Jinja SS in a 0 – 0 draw
