TUE- 29- SEPT- 2015;
SCVU VS URA @ 4:00 PM
@ NAMBOLE STADIUM
Out of five games played by Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) this season, two have ended in victory and three in defeat, the most recent being last Friday’s 2-1 loss to Lweza FC at Wankulukuku stadium.
Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) will have to rely on Nicholas Kagaba who scored a beauty against Lweza last Friday if they are to pick anything from their do or die encounter against URA FC when the latter travels to Nambole tater on Tuesday.
After peeling off a few markers, he struck a well-curled shot from outside the area into the top corner of goalkeeper Julius Sseguya’s goal. However, he won’t be alone in the search for a third victory of the season for the students.
Left-winger Titus Lubega and right-winger Farouk Kawooya, scorer of two of SCVU’s five goals thus far, have troubled defences through their thrust, speed, energy and dribbling.
Like on Friday when Nestory Kizito, Lweza’s veteran left-back felt how a danger Kawooya can be at crossing, URA FC full backs must come prepared for the high paced Kawooya.
The only problem, though, be the lack of sharpness of Wanok and his strike partner, Sam Ssekamatte if selected by coach Hussein Kheri who has been incharge of the team in the absence of head coach Haruna Mawa. Both Wanok and Ssekamatte have wasted a lot of chances in the previous matches.
Last season URA beat SCVU home and away 1-0 and 0-2 respectively with Feni Ali and Ronald Kigongo scoreing for the tax collectors in the second game.
While SCVU’s last game ended in 2-1 loss to Lweza FC at Wankulukuku, URA managed a 0-0 draw at the same venue against Express FC.
SC Victoria University lies 9th on the table with 6 points collected from 5 games played so far whereas URA sits in the 6th position with 8 points in 4 games played.
URA will travel to Nambole without midfielder Tekkwo Derrick who has been ruled out of the team due to injuries, while Oromchan Villa, Sekitto Sam and Ochan Patrick who were out of Express FC game will return for selection.
Elsewhere, JMC Hippos visit army side Simba SC at the Bombo army barracks while Bul FC travel to Luzira prison grounds where they will tussle it out with home side Maroons FC in the other fixture of the day.
