Kenyan skipper and Tottenham Midfielder Victor Wanyama returned to London from his sides pre-season tour of the USA for treatment on his recurring knee injury that kept him out for four months last season.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino told the Sun that Wanyama was flown back to England with academy player Tashan Oakley-Boothe, who is also injured.
Pochettino said: “Victor and Tashan are in London because they need to see the doctor there.

Wanyama who has been instrumental for Tottenham Hotspur did not play in the lose to Barcelona as the team doctors did not want to aggravate the injury.
Victor Wanyama is now a doubt for the start of the new season together with his compatriot Moussa Sissoko.
The news must be a big setback for Wanyama who had been optimistic of a great season ahead after recovering from.He has been a pillar at Tottenham Hotspur the creative hub through which tempo and majority of the teams defensive and attacking endevour are channeled through.
