Kenyan midfielder and Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama has alluded to the fact that even though he would wish to join Arsenal he is still firmly a Southampton player.
Speaking in a weekly Magazine show in Kenya dubbed Mchakamchaka was forthright as the presenter pressed him to reveal if he was moving to Arsenal
Presenter – Wanyama are you moving to Arsenal since many of your fans have been talking about the move ?
Wanyama:Yes it would be nice to move to Arsenal but at this moment such decisions can only be made by my team Southampton and that is where my concentration as a player is.
Wanyama who is currently in Kenya for holidays after the Barclays Premier league 2014/2015 season ended brought with him the awards he received this season saying it was a great time in his career to be appreciated from all over the World.
“It feels nice to have won this awards shows that my contribution for Southampton has been appreciated and I want to thank everyone for this gesture”he said in the show
