Nairobi based, Wazito FC secured promotion to Kenya’s top tier league after a 5:2 demolition of Police FC in a match played at the Narok Stadium.
The Frank Ouna led side overcame Police courtesy of braces from Denis Gicheru, and Kennedy Otijo , Zachary Gathu scored the other goal to assure automatic qualification to the KPL.
Ushuru who finished 3rd in the NSL will have to battle it out in a playoff against Thika United who finished 16th in the KPL but all that depends on whether KPL and FKF can agree on the promotion criteria.
