Vipers 3-2 KCCA

Vipers FC have beaten defending champions KCCA 3-2 in a thrilling high octane match played at the St Marys Stadium in Kampala.

Defending champions KCCA took the lead in the 11th minute after lethal striker Shaban Mohammed raced high from a Timothy Awach cross to finish softly .His goal did not last as Milton Karisa drew level two minutes later from a goal mouth scramble .

Both teams pressed on and were clinical in a departments

Nicholas Wadada’s shot was parried away by KCCA keepers as was Erisa Sekisambu’s diving header in the opposite end

The latter delivered a fierce shot at the death of Half time to put the venoms ahead .

In the second half KCCA started stongly missing two clear chances but Kitende was lit red in the 80th minute when Milton Karisa scored a volley making it 3-1 out of reach of the defending champions

KCCA reduced the deficit with Mohamed Shaban scoring in the 80th minute with the last minutes becoming tense
