Vipers SC have introduced player of the month award to motivate their squad as they seek to reclaim the premiership title they last won in 2015 season.

The first winners of the award will be feted this month becoming the second top flight football club to reward the most outstanding player on and of the pitch in a move seen by many as an attempt to win the league title at whatever cost.

According to Vipers SC head of the media, Kenneth Muwanga the club will start to fete its best player in a gesture that will go a long way towards motivating the team.

“The monthly awards are important as they will  play a critical role in motivating players to give their all on the pitch,”said Muwanga

Team Captain, Nicholas Wadada expressed his delight indicating that monthly awards will play a pivotal role to ensure the team imporvement both on and off the pitch.

The technical bench,players and fans will be tasked in settling on the best player through voting in a platform that will be later communicated by the club.

Vipers SC are second in the Azam Premier League log on 16 points after nine rounds, three points behind leaders KCCA.
