Vipers SC hierarchy has sent its entire technical bench packing after string of poor performances in the competitions.
The decision to have a change of guard at the technical bench was announced this morning after the club crashed to a humiliating 2-1 defeat to SC Villa at Nakivubo Stadium yesterday.
A statement sent by the club to media houses indicate that the club hierarchy lost patience with coach Abdallah Mubiru together with his deputies George Nsimbe and Luyinda John after a series of poor results.
Mubiru who took over from his sacked deputy George Nsimbe at the beggining of the season started the 2016/2017 campaign on a positive note.In the 13 matches he was in charge, Vipers won five games, lost three leaving the club in 5th poistion on the league table.
However in recent assignments Vipers have failed to win a single match in their last four assignments.
The losses made the club hierarchy displeased with Mubiru. The fans also failed to hold back the patience accusing the coach of poor fielding and inconsisteny in squad selection even with the best players at his disposal.
The club is understood to be courting a foreign coach to take charge and will be helped by unnamed local assistant coaches in what the club management puts as commitment to winning this season Azam Uganda Premier League and offering competitive and entertaining football to fans and partners.
