Volcan De Moroni from Comoros who are popuraly known as the ‘Shining Stars of Moroni’ have this morning landed in Kampala ahead of the CAF Confederations Cup engagement aganist hosts Vipers SC on Saturday at Nelson Mandela Stadium in Nambolee.

According to a press statement released by the club,a 30 man contingent led by Comoros football federation official Ali Said Athouman touched down at Entebbe International Airport at exactly 7:45 am aboard an Ethiopian Airlines flight.

The visitors were warmly welcomed in the Pearl of Africa by Fufa officials Richard Nandigobe, Emmanuel Sekago(security), Vipers SC chairman George William Mulindwa together with the club head of technical, Harunah Kyobe.

Later they were driven straight to Grand Imperial Hotel, Kampala looking relaxed though exhausted following the long hours aboard the plane.

The team boasts four professional players in their ranks,Noah Stephane (Cameroon), Landry Kpatch ( Ivory coast) together with two Madagascans Razafy Andre and Andrianomenjanahary Angelot Aristide though.

The eagerly awaited Caf Confederations Cup encounter takes place on Saturday,11 February at 4pm at the Mandela national stadium.

The contingent of Volcan Club officials include Said Ali Athouman (leader of delegation), Ibrahim Abdourazak(club president),Kadafi Ahmed Ali(Asst. Coach),Mohamed Abdillah(team doctor),Mohamed Said Ali Cheikh (team moral preparator), Fahardine Mroivili (Team agent), Anil Said (team intending), Chamsoudine -Abdallah (team technical)
