As Mozambique beats Zambia for the first time
Wedson Nyirenda’s future as Chipolopolo coach has been called further into question as Mozambique got the better of Zambia on the open day of 2019 qualifiers . This is the first time Mozambique has beaten Zambia. Its game number 21 and before thus encounter , Zambia had 17 wins and three draws , now Mozambique has one win win.
Wedson finds himself in between failing to go to the world cup and starting poorly for 2019 AFCON qualifiers.
Social Media has gone buzzing with Zambian soccer fans questioning the selection of Wedson Nyirenda and tactics he is imploring to the Zambian game.
There is genuine fears that Zambian fans might as well turn to the Football Association to bring in an expatriate again. The story that keeps surfacing in these circumstances .
Already the attendance at the stadium shows a deep decline in a number of fans watching the national team, am hoping fans wont turn it into a disenchanted protest against Wedson and the senior national team as a whole.

There are also real concerns that going forward, games could take place before a half-empty stadium and with the Chipolopolo team being barracked. If that does happen it would seal Wedson’s fate.
