WAFCON: The Super Falcons record 10th title beckons

The defending Champions the Super Falcons will be looking for another title at the 2022 TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco when the tournament kicks off on Saturday 2 July, 2022.

Nigeria are drawn in Group C alongside South Africa, Burundi and Botswana.

The Nigeria Women’s National Football Team will face perennial rivals South Africa on Monday, 3rd July, 2022 in a repeat of the 2018 final.

Nigeria who are 9 times winners will be seen as favorites to advance and get a record 10th title with South Africa expected to give them a close run for the crown.

Nigeria have an experienced group of players who can get the job done once again.

The likes of Asisat Oshoala, Desire Oparanozie and Francisca Ordega are among the usual suspects to help Nigeria get the job done.
