I watched Nkana against ZESCO at Nkana stadium last weekend and I will be quick to say they were the better side and in fact they deserved more than a point they got.
They managed to handle Zesco United and the pressure from Zesco was clear to see.
Green Buffaloes on the other hand struggled against Nchanga Rangers but still managed to come out with a point and a fair result for the neutrals from that match.
This one will be interesting as GBFC did a double against Nkana last season hence revenge will be on the minds of the Kitwe giants.
Goal machine Walter Bwalya makes grand return after missing three matches due to the suspension slapped on him by FAZ for unsportsmanship behaviour.
Nkana only managed to get four points from a possible nine without Bwalya. Coach Zeddy Sailet will be excited to have him back and help unlock things upfront.
Green Buffaloes has not been inspiring this far and it maybe signs that they will struggle this season.
Yes they did a double against Nkana last season but am tempted to put my head on guillotine that won’t be the case this time around.
The head to head between these two still favours Nkana by one game despite the 2016 victories the Army side posted last season. In the last 16 games, Green Buffaloes has beaten Nkana 6 times while Nkana has 7 wins. With 2 draws in those encounters.
This one won’t be a draw and NKANA will get revenge for the 2016 beating.
