Nkana have confirmed the departure of striker Walter Bwalya Binene from the Club to join Egyptian side El Gouna in a fee believed to be a whopping $650,000 deal.
The Club in a statement said that they have concluded a deal for the striker Bwalya who successfully attended medicals in Cairo.
“Nkana have concluded a transfer deal for Skipper Walter Bwalya who moves on a permanent move to El Gouna Sporting Club. Bwalya’s move becomes the second for Nkana this transfer Window after Austin Muwowo who has joined Orlando Pirates.
“We would like to wish Walter Bwalya and Austin Muwowo all their best with their respective clubs. We believe that even at their new clubs they will excel, ” Chief Executive Officer, Charles Chakatazya said.
Nkana have been reluctant to let go of their captain, but changed their stance after being a transfer fee too hard to resist.
