Nkana Football Club yesterday handed Mufurila Blackpool their 14th loss of the season to stay second on the log with 2 goals courtesy of talisman Walter Bwalya.

Walter Bwalya opened the scoring in the 29th minute ,heading home a shadreck Musonda cross to give Nkana the lead and 3 minutes later Water Bwalya increased Nkana’s advantage after sloting home a penalty. This was after Blackpool defender David Sichilima handed the ball.

The league joint topscorer would have scored a hatrick just minutes into the second half but Reuben Chisala the Mufurila Blackpool keeper had enough by this point and served his penalty awarded after michael Silego had hacked Shadreck Musonda.

Walter Bwalya’s match winning performance was however, was not the highlight of the match as this was the game Nkana’s most loved son Ronald “Sate-Sate” Kampamba made his debut after returning on a year long loan deal from Egyptian giants Wadi Degla.

Kampamba replaced Simon Bwalya just minutes into the second half and the crowd went into frenzy. A welcome worth of a hero, cause that what Landlord is to many Nkana fans.

Nkana have now moved to 38 points and still second on the league with 11 points separating them and log leaders Sensational Zanaco.
