Kabwe Warriors this afternoon held Zesco United to a 1-1 draw in a week 9 fixture of the FAZ/MTN Super Division at Godfrey Ucar Chitalu stadium.
Warriors opened the scoring early in the second via a Josphat Jasusu penalty when Kondwani Mtonga handled in the box.
Zesco United immediately levelled matters through Jackson Were when he found space in the box to slot home his ninth goal of the season.
Warriors domited the play in the first half but the Kabwe outfit were guilty of poor finishing.
The second half was evenly contested but none could find the winner. This means the defending Champions have failed to win in the last two fixtures and will be regarded as points dropped in the title race.
