Kabwe Warriors midfielder Jacob Phiri has joined in today’s commemoration of the World Aids day which falls on 1 December of every year.
Phiri wrote on his official Facebook account urging young people to be responsible and get involved in the fight against the pandemic which has ravaged most parts of subsaharan Africa and the world at large.
“The whole WORLD today has joined hands in commemorating WORLD AIDS DAY, if you are not INFECTED then you are AFFECTED so lets join hands and prevent the rampant spread of HIV/AIDS…lets help one another and be brothers for life.
“If you can’t ABSTAIN,use a CONDOM…but all we have to do to prevent the spread is by ABSTAINING,,as it is said ABSTAINANCE ILI CHEE! #HANDS UP FOR PREVENTION..GOD IS FOR US ALL #AFTERALL LIFE WAS MEANT TO BE CELEBRATED,” Phiri said.
