Immediate former Harambee Stars head coach Francis Kimanzi has been unveiled as the new head coach of Wazito FC ahead of the 2020/21 FKF Premier League (FKF-PL) expected to start next week.
He will be assisted by former harambee stars assistant coach John Kamau. Kamau has previously handled the now defunct Thika United, Posta Rangers, KCB FC, and FC Talanta.
Also joining the team is Samuel Koko and former Muhoroni Youth FC assistant coach Jeff Odongo. Koko who comes in from Mathare United will head the goalkeeping department whilst Odongo will serve as Wazito FC trainer.
Wazito, who completed the 2019/20 season in 13th position, will start the new season with an away game against Kariobangi sharks on December 28. Kimanzi who won the league with Mathare United in 2008 will be expected to bring in success at the club.
The tactician has also coached Sofapaka FC, and Tusker FC.
