Wazito FC continued their rebuilding process this time acquiring the services of Steven Odhiambo from Western Stima.
He will contend for the goal keeping number one spot with Peter Odhiambo who also arrived during this transfer window from Gor Mahia and Bixente Odhiambo who has been with the club.
After he put pen to paper, the Mumias Boys Muslim Secondary School Alumus speaking with the clubs website, promised fans better results.
“I am delighted to join Wazito FC because it is a well organized team with good management. I think it is every player’s dream to play for Wazito. To the fans I want to tell them that we will give our best to ensure that the team performs better than it did last season,” he said.
The clubs goalkeeper coach Elias Otieno showered praise on the Odhiambo,
“Steve is a good goalkeeper. He is very hardworking and has the eagerness to learn and improve as a player, above all he has a very positive attitude. He is a keeper capable of being our first choice and I know that he will compete well with our two other custodians.”
Other signings Wazito has made include: Vincent Oburu who was (AFC Leopards), Kevin Kimani(Mathare United), Bonface Omondi(Gor Mahia), Jackson ‘Pogba’ Juma (AFC Leopards), Edwin Omondi (Western Stima), Mark Otieno (Leads United), Castro Ogendo (Gor Mahia) and Kevin Okumu(City Stars).
