The newly appointed chairman fir Forest Rangers Ben Mukuka has hinted that Forest Rangers that they will be appealing the decision that had the club losing in default against Nkana FC and subsequently the later being awarded 3 points plus 3nil scoreline after Rangers failed to pitch up at Nkana Stadium in a rescheduled week 20 encounter.
The chairman who didn’t give details of the grounds for appeal said the team will issue a press statement on Thursday to give the position of the team on the matter.
Asked if the team was distracted as they welcome Lumwana Radiants with the current prevailing situation, the Chairman said the team was focused for the game and whatever is happening, is administrative and not affecting the team.
“No the team is not affected at all and focused to play Lumwana Radiants, the appealing matter is administrative and it will be settled the soonest.” said the Mukaka.
