Zambia’s goal machine Barbara Banda remains optimistic of their chances of sealing a ticket to the Tokyo Olympics ahead of their second leg Qualifiers on Tuesday at the Nkoloma Stadium.
Speaking to Zambian media, she reckoned the difficulty of the task ahead but are still aiming to fend off the challenge and emerge victorious.
The 19 year old believes that she polopolo produced a good performance in Yaoundé despite their 3-2 loss as she maintained that the Olympic dream is still on.
“It’s not an easy game. We (Zambia) still keep our heads up because we played well despite the loss. We will not in any way underrate Cameroon but we want to make a comeback on Tuesday,”
“The Olympic dream still remains. This is a challenge for us and moral is very high in camp as we await for the game,”
Zambia welcome Cameroon to the Nkoloma Stadium on Tuesday for the return leg. The aggregate winner gets a direct qualification to Tokyo. The loser plays Chile in a playoff.
