Ahead of the up-coming inspection visit of the African Football Confederation, CAF, slated in November, the Technical Director of Prime Potomac, Noel Desire Chinda has stated that, they will be ready to receive inspectors from the African governing body within three weeks.

The statement was made recently during a working session. Noel Desire Chinda said, the assessment to date of the infrastructure remains positive given that they have done with all the sites and the finishing phase in ongoing.

“In view of the work we have done on all our sites, one thing is obvious: the assessment to date is positive. Overall, we are in the terminal phase and within three weeks, we will be ready to receive CAF Inspectors,” Noel Chinda said.

According to Chinda, “finishing touches are currently going on in the various sites, especially in the area of ground stand, ditto for blenchers, cloakrooms, lawns and security features.” At the CENAJES Stadium, the technical Director told reporters that the lawn is finishes and the exterior finishes are in progress.

On what concretely is left to be done, Noel Chinda said, “the work to be carried out before the delivery of our projects concerns only parking, the roads and various networks, wiring and equipment.”

Concerning the CAF mission that is expected in the month of November, he remained optimistic and promised that they will be up to date with regards to the requirement of CAF.

“We have never doubted our ability to carry our work and the same optimism w have had from the beginning remains a reality. Today we are more than serene and convince that by November 3, we will certainly not have completed but we will be up to date with regard to the requirements of CAF,” He added.

He noted that Infrastructure facilities such as lawn, bleachers, locker rooms and perimeter walls will be fully ready and completed. Going by him, all the aspects on which CAF insisted will be read but that the essential will be completed at the time of the next inspection mission.

However, Prime Potomac is constructing and rehabilitating six sporting structures ahead of the 2019 Total African Cup of Nations, AFCON; four football training ground and two hotels in Garoua. They are rehabilitating the CENAJES Stadium that is 1.3km from Roumde-Adjia main stadium, The Gendarmerie training round, Coton Sport training stadium and the Poumpoumre sport complex.

They are also in charge of the rehabilitation of the Benoue Hotel and the construction of the four-star Sport hotel in Garoua. Three of the training stadiums have a capacity of 1050 seats and 68m by 105m while the Poumpoumre sport complex among other things will have a volley ball, handball arena and a capacity of 2000 places.
