FKF President Nick Mwendwa speaking to journalists during the official draw ceremony of the Sportpesa Shield Cup said that the planned Kenya Premier League clash has been postponed to pave way for the two international friendly match between Kenya and Swaziland
Mwendwa’s statements did not go well with the AFC Leopards National Executive Council who insisted that the planned League clash will go on
In a statement signed by the CEO,Leopards Football club have notified the public and football lovers that the match will be on and that they will not release players to the National team terming the friendly as funny .

KPL insisted they will not postpone the match telling off FKF to use the available players while efforts to reach Gor Mahia management went futile
