Ethiopia Walia Ibex coach Yohannes Sahle believes they could have done better against Seychelles in their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier group J game that ended in a 1-1 draw away in Mahe,Seychelles.
Sahle speaking to soka25east.com alluded to the fact that the team would have done better but took consolation to the massive surprises that were witnessed in other subsequent matches in the busy Afcon weekend.
“We would have done better against Seychelles but again if you compare our draw with what happened to other top sides like Nigeria,South Africa,Tunisia and Equitorial Guinea I take solace that we got an important away from home however we have to work hard in our remaining matches”Sahle said
Group J leaders Algeria secured a 3-1 victory away in Lesotho scoring twice in the last five minutes taking firm position at the top of the apex with maximum six points.Lesotho remain pointless after losing both their matches against Ethiopia and Algeria.
