WEEK ONE DONE
Nkana FC ends week One on top of the FAZ MTN Super League of 2016 but then Zesco, Zanaco, Red Arrows, Nakambala Leopards, Kabwe Warriors and Lumwana Radiants have not kicked the ball yet.
Interesting games played in the Super League on the first day and already the Table shaping up and looking like we are destined for a very good season of football in the year 2016.
WINNERS
NKANA, LUSAKA TIGERS, LUSAKA DYNAMOS,
POWER DYNAMOS AND GREEN BUFFALOES
Five teams gets three points each on the first day on a day where we only saw nine goals accorss the country in six games played with Nkana, Lusaka Dynamos, Green Buffaloes winning away while Power Dynamos and Lusaka Tigers winning their home games.
BEST TEAM FOR ME
LUSAKA TIGERS
The Matero boys may have been helped by the unregistered players by the Nchanga Team but that does not take out their resilient that was seen in the game played at Independence Stadium. The team which most of the followers are indicating will be relegated picked very good three points and it is such points at home that will decide the stay of Lusaka Tigers in the Super League.
DRAW
MUFULIRA WANDERERS AND FOREST RANGERS
Only game ended in a draw involving Forest Rangers hosting Mufulira Wanderers.
MOST IMPROVED TEAM
FOREST RANGERS
Forest Rangers really played good football against Mufulira Wanderers and that draw will be a good start and for those who watched the game you would appreciate the passing game that Forest Rangers displayed at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium against Mufulira Wanderers.
Wanderers seem to have the same challenge they had last season of challenges upfront but they were missing one key player in Mike Katiba and we will have to wait and see how the season pans out.
LOSERS
NKWAZI, MUFULIRA BLACKPOOL, NCHANGA RANGERS AND NAPSA
Reports from Kitwe indicate that Mufulira Blackpool played a good game but that is a game that they were supposed to get something before Lusaka Dynamos settles to the big iinvestments that are being hinted everywhere.
MOST DISAPPOINTING TEAMS
NKWAZI and NCHANGA RANGERS
Just wondering why the two teams had to leave it late to the last minute to force the registration of players and it is such hicups that makes teams be relegated and both the teams that had the challenge of unregistered players by the kick off lost their opening games.
For Nkwazi i m ay not have details but how do you change EXCO with couple of hours before the opening of the season with two crucial games on your calendar to open the league.
That loss for Nchanga Rangers meant Nchanga Rangers will have to continue fighting to get a win on the road for a very very long time.
