West Ham flop and Algeria international Sofiane Feghouli has finally completed his long rumoured move to Turkish side Galatasaray after months of speculation.
The former Valenica star struggled in his first and only season at the London Stadium, scoring only 4 times, and with the Hammers having signed a number of high profile players this summer including Stoke’s Marko Arnautovic, the Algerian’s time in East London was all but signalled to an end.
Despite the Super Lig giants showing interest in the player as early as two months ago however, the 27-year-old only today completed his move.
Galatasaray fans were growing impatient with the longevity of the ordeal, with some comical posting “wanted”posters with the midfielder’s face on over Istanbul as a sign of their frustration.
In completing his £4 million switch, Feghouli joins a long list of high profile names to join The Lions this summer including former Swansea star Bafetimbi Gomis and Sevilla star Mariano.
