Fasil Kenema coach Zemaryam Woldegiorgis feels the hard fought victory over Woldya Kenema in the Ethiopia Premier League (EPL) on Tuesday 28 March gives the players added impetus to aim even higher in their coming league games.
The Emperors won the game 1- 0 courtesy of Yisake Mukria’s goal early in the second half and Woldegiorgis feels it is not just about the celebration that comes with the win but the motivation from it after dropping points in their last three games.
”After losing three league games,we came to the capital to play a two games tournament in the Grand Renaissance Dam Cup.We lost the first game to Adama Kenema and we won Arbaminch Kenema on the second game on Saturday.
“This win lifts our confidence and yesterday,we got our first 3 point from Woldya. We will now work hard to keep with this winning mentality,” Woldegiorgis told Soka25east.
The win moved Fasil Kenema sixth position on the standings with 29 points, one game on hand aganist leaders St.George and just five points ahead of eighth placed Woldya.
